Meanwhile, Scotland have been handed a tough test after being drawn in a group which also contains holders Spain and the Czech Republic. The Republic of Ireland have been drawn in Russia's group, while Northern Ireland must face reigning world champions Italy. The qualifying games will begin in September and the nine group winners will all progress to the finals alongside the runners-up with the best records.
