Bremen terminates Tosic contract

Bremen, Germany (Sportsbook Betting Lines) - Werder Bremen have terminated the contract
of Serbian defender Dusko Tosic after he failed to complete a move to second-
division Duisburg.
The 25-year-old joined Bremen in the summer of 2007 from French club Sochaux,
but struggled to make an impact at the Weserstadion.
Sporting director Klaus Allofs told the club's official website: "After his
renewed misbehavior in the last few days, we are happy to have now closed this
chapter.
"We have never before experienced a player behaving like him.
"The player assured us and his agent that he would go to Duisburg on loan. In
the evening, he just did not show up in Duisburg as planned."
Meanwhile, Croatia midfielder Jurica Vranjes has left Bremen to join Turkish
side Genclerbirligi on loan until the end of the season.
